It's not as bad as it seems but it's still bad for gearheads.
The world of fashion is a very, very crazy place. Fashion shows feature some of the oddest clothing around designed by some of the world's most eccentric personalities. Normally we don't care what goes on in that world, but New York-based label Rag & Bone has got our attention with this short video for its new fall/winter line. It ends with a 1979 Porsche 911 SC getting crushed by a concrete traffic barrier. The destruction is total.
Check out the crushing in the video below. It's pretty damn intense. Even the model flinches.
So life sucks because fashion labels indiscriminately destroy classic cars, right? Well, it's not that simple. According to the Daily Mail this 911 was salvaged from a scrap yard. What's more is that only the shell was crushed. Destroying a nice rolling chassis still blows but it's not like this car was someone's beloved classic or daily driver. We'll call it a push.
