It's hard to argue that the Ferrari 458 Spider needs any additional work once it leaves the factory gates in Maranello. With its stunning lines and naturally-aspirated 4.5-liter V8 producing 562 horsepower, the open-top variant of Ferrari's mid-engined supercar is just about damn near perfect. But Novitec Russo and HG Motorsports felt differently and each realized there was some more work that could be done. US-based HG Motorsports recently unveiled its upgraded 458 Spider that utilizes mechanical and stylistic elements produced by the German tuner.

Novitec is known for its solid work in upgrading Ferraris with an added bit of German influence. Beginning with a new set of Novitec Sport springs, HG Motorsports swapped out the stock units which in turn lowered the car. No other work was done mechanically or under the hood, but HG Motorsports did add front wings, rear spoiler lip, a rear diffuser and skirt, carbon taillight covers - also produced by Novitec. There's also a new set of wheels and a new laser shifter. Official pricing for the kit, however, wasn't announced.
