The Ferrari 488 GTB has yet to make its public debut, but renderings of future variants have been coming in thick and fast. Following imaginings of what a drop top could look like, come these images of a Speciale version of the 458 Italia's successor. Lighter, more powerful and with a more aerodynamic, aggressive body, there's no doubt Ferrari will introduce this car at some point, but it will probably come with a different name.

So while the 488 GTB boasts a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 660 hp, a Speciale version will probably break the 700-hp mark and come with unique touches: Cavalino Design has added a couple more exhaust pipes and extra carbon-fiber body parts. So while you get your head around just how mad this thing will be, we'll look forward to bringing you shots of the 488 GTB live from the Geneva show floor in this first week of March.
