The Ferrari 512 TR, as well as the previous generations of the car, usually simply referred to as the Testarossa, suffers from an almost unique problem today. The styling of the car is so relentlessly Eighties that many people have a genuinely difficult time taking the car seriously now. This is a shame, as the Testarossa, especially in its most evolved form, the 512 TR, was really something of an engineering marvel, and quite a fantastic car.
