The cabin of this Italian thoroughbred is about as striking as they come.
Far from calling it the "entry-level" Ferrari, we'd say the Ferrari California T was the answer for sports car aficionados looking for a side of sun to go with their hallmark Ferrari performance. But what if the high-priced Italian drop-top just doesn't feel "special" enough for you?
For those customers, we might recommend subjecting the California T to a full custom interior treatment - as this customer has done with their fetching metallic gray example. The work was performed by Vilner Studios out of Sofia, Bulgaria, which can be hired to do top-quality custom makeover work on just about anything with four wheels and an engine.
This car's owner was apparently as enchanted with the factory metallic gray paint as we are, requesting that Vilner more-or-less leave the exterior untouched. Instead, work was focused on the cabin, where the California T received fresh new red leather and carbon fiber elements, with some detailed embossing work, and two-tone black-and-red seatbelts. The steering wheel makes for an eye-catching centerpiece, the bright yellow Ferrari prancing horse emblem encircled by a mix of leather, carbon, and deep black suede, all punctuated with white contrast stitching.
There is one spot where the exterior got a bit of a touch-up, though; the wheels. Vilner made them over with some bright red painted spoke accents. To top it all off, Vilner put together some handcrafted black and red duffel bags, because no Ferrari is complete without matching luggage.
"Everything here is about passion and feelings," said shop owner, Atanas Vilner, about the custom makeover. "Red was just the natural choice - fine leather covering the curves and turns on each panel, and contrasting white stitches that put everything together. I wanted to recreate the feeling of a woman's lingerie - to arouse the men and make women feel comfortable and sexy inside."
Whether or not stepping into ladies' undergarments is your cup of tea, we suspect you'll agree: this Ferrari California T is one car we wouldn't mind sliding into.
