Ferrari Collector Pays Over $800,000 for License Plate "25 O" in the UK

That is going to look really smart on his Ferrari 250 GT SWB.

While Afzal Kahn’s “F1” plate remains the UK’s most sought-after number plate with a valuation believed to be in the region of £10 million, spending the equivalent of over $800,000 on the plate “25 O” is still pretty crazy. John Collins paid £518,000 for the privilege of putting the plate on his Ferrari 250 GT SWB, winning an auction held by the UK’s Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) to mark its 25th anniversary.

In fact, Collins ended up splashing a cool million in total after a bid of £130,320 ($205,000) was enough to secure the license plate “250 L,” which he bought for his 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso.
