Ferrari Creates Special Logo for Chinese Year of the Horse

2014 Beijing Auto Show

Prancing Horse reinvented for Beijing Motor Show.

Ferrari has revealed a new logo in Beijing to mark the Chinese year of the horse. Taking the form of a traditional Chinese imperial seal, the logo includes the carmaker’s signature prancing horse and a message in Chinese roughly translating as “may the year of the horse bring success.” Combining Chinese traditions of calligraphy, seal-cutting and text, the logo is shaped like a stamp and colored in Ferrari red. It was proudly displayed at Ferrari’s booth along with the new California T – the first time it had appeared outside Europe.
