A spectacular assortment of Prancing Horses wowed the crowds this past weekend at the Festival of Speed.
We knew what Ferrari was bringing to the Goodwood table this year, but with the festival now over it's time to check out the motors from Maranello in action on the track and polished to perfection posing around the grounds of Lord March's estate. An array of classics, modern supercars, racing cars and one-offs were brought along by the carmaker, while British broadcaster Chris Evans also showed up with a sample of his awesome Ferrari collection including a 250 Testarossa Spider, Daytona, 288 GTO, F40, and 599 SA Aperta.
At the Cartier Style de Luxe lawn, a standout Prancing Horse was a 1955 250 GT Speciale commissioned by Ingrid Bergman finished in her own shade of Grigio Ingrid. Unfortunately the legendary actress never took delivery of the car. John Lennon's 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Berlinetta also sold at Bonham's Goodwood auction, fetching £359,000, double the pre-sale estimate.
