The owner of a Ferrari California T has been arrested in Ireland following his alleged involvement in a serious three car collision. According to Irish news sources, the 52-year-old driver of the drop top supercar was arrested for potentially "driving when unfit, failing to remain and failing to report." In other words, he was apparently driving under the influence, crashed and then fled the scene. The driver was released from jail after posting bail, but unfortunately his car didn't get off so easily.

The red Ferrari California T, which is powered by a 552-hp 3.9-liter V8 engine, is severely damaged. In fact the impact of the crash was so hard, that the left front wheel and brake were completely snapped off the axle and the entire front left panel looks destroyed beyond repair. The California T typically retails for around $200,000, so it's easy to assume that the damages incurred will cost tens of thousands of dollars to repair.
