Mansory is known for its controversial take on supercars. If a supercar brand you love has poured thousands of hours of love and hard work into a car, odds are, Mansory has tried to improve it (or ruin it, depending on who you ask). This Ferrari F8 Spider is the latest. This comes just a year after the coupe version, the F8XX was unveiled by the brand.

Near as we can tell, all the truly crazy bits and bobs are carried over from the coupe, including the rear winglets and color scheme. However, if you look carefully there are some - and we can't believe we're saying this- subtle differences.

As with the coupe, forged carbon is the name of the game here. It's frankly been the name of the game for Mansory for some time. Go check out the brand's Ferrari SF90. Regardless, that means the headlight accenting, sidepods, air inlets, front fascia, canards, and wing are all made of the stuff. Then, they're adorned with yellow accents, which can also be found on the brakes, body, and interior.

The most obvious change from the coupe is the wheels. These Lamborghini-Veneno-like wheels are also made largely of forged carbon. If that's not enough forged carbon, the door handles are also made of the stuff. You'll also notice a slightly more toned-down paint here than on the coupe. This time around a matte finish was used.

Inside, the car is bathed in yellow and green leather with new accents all over. That includes prodigious use of the Italian flag on the console, shift paddles, gear selector, and dash. In fact, a flag extends the full length of the body, from the splitter to the forged carbon winglets.

As ever, we're shocked at how little is needed to boost the power output of the F8. Ferrari quotes 710 hp and 567 lb-ft from the mid-mounted twin-turbo V8. Here, it makes 880 hp and 722 lb-ft of torque thanks to a new engine tune and an exhaust. We just need to hear it to verify that this F8XX is as loud as it looks on our screens.
