After transitioning the California to the California T last year, and succeeding the 458 Italia with the 488 GTB earlier this month, it's time for Ferrari to give the FF a significant mid-life refresh or 'Modifacto" in Ferrari talk. These spy shots of the V12-powered Shooting Brake shows the Italian carmaker will give the new FF a restyled front bumper with freshly designed air inlets, while changes are expected at the rear too.

The 6.3-liter unit will be upgraded to deliver over 700 hp, up from the current models' 651 hp, and come mated to a new eight-speed twin-clutch transmission and revised 4RM all-wheel drive system. Rumors suggest Ferrari may also create an "entry-level" coupe-like variant of the FF, powered by the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 from the new 488 GTB. Expect the new Ferrari FF to debut later this year.
