Kids are kept busy most of the year with school. But come the summer, they need a new place to go, and for many, that means summer camp. These days there are all kinds of camps to cater to different interests, but this has to be our favorite. Since Ferrari operates an entire village near the factory for its employees and their families, it also runs a camp for their children. In fact there are three such Ferrari summer camps - two in Maranello and one in nearby Modena - and some of the exotic automaker's biggest stars recently dropped by to visit the kids there.

Stopping by the visit the camp in Maranello were company president Luca di Montezemolo (a veritable celebrity in Italy), his right-hand man CEO Amedeo Felisa, test driver Jules Bianchi and Scuderia grand prix pilots Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. The visit was a treat especially for the forty kids there from Medolla who were most affected by the recent earthquakes, but for us it's just a trip to scope out the photos and realized we went to the wrong camp as kids.
