Men's style magazine inspires drop-top Fiat 500 special edition.
The Fiat 500 GQ edition unveiled at Geneva earlier this year must have proven popular as the Italian carmaker has decided to reestablish its relationship with fashion magazine Conde Nast in creating a limited edition 500c GQ. Unveiled at the Concorso Italiano during Monterey Car Week, the GQ variant of the Cinquecento cabrio is distinguished by a restyled front fascia with bigger air intakes, new 16-inch split five-spoke alloys finished in black with a red center cap, and a cloth-top mounted spoiler.
Designed to "capture the essence of the GQ man," the 500c GQ also boasts a rear diffuser integrating the dual exhaust system, special badging and touches of gloss back around the lights. Inside, the GQ Edition sports a black and white leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, specially designed black" GQ" embossed leather sports seats trimmed with Alcantara, Tungsten accent stitching, and satin chrome accents. Available in black, silver, granite crytal and white, the special edition cabrio features the 160-hp 1.4-liter MultiAir turbo mated to a five speed manual and will hit showrooms early 2014.
