After receiving a new turbocharged engine in 2019 and a Sport trim level in 2020, the 2021 Fiat 500X rolls into the new model year with fewer significant changes. The big additions come in the form of several value packages for the Pop, Trekking, and Sport trim levels. The Sport Value Package is the ultimate value, adding a ton of features such as a dual-pane sunroof, Beats premium audio system, 19-inch wheels, LED headlamps and fog lamps, front and rear park assist, navigation, heated front seats, and windshield wiper deicer.

"Designed and built in Italy, our fun-to-drive Fiat 500X is the only vehicle in its class to deliver a standard turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive and 30 miles per gallon," said Matt Davis, Head of Fiat North America. "For 2021, the 500X adds the Sport Value Package to the aggressive Sport trim that debuted last year, bringing more bang for the buck to our dynamic crossover."

The 2021 Fiat 500X Pop starts at $24,840 (excluding $1,495 destination) boasting a standard 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque going out to a nine-speed automatic transmission to all-wheel-drive. Buyers can add a $300 Pop Value Package, which brings $1,300 worth of features including automatic headlamps, rear park assist, SiriusXM satellite radio, deep-tint sunscreen glass, and Beats premium audio.

The 500X Sport starts at $27,145, and Fiat says the Sport Value Package adds $3,400 of content for the low price of just $700, bringing the total price to $27,845.

A $700 Trekking Value Package is available for the $26,245 Trekking trim level, adding $3,300 worth of value. However, there aren't any value packages for the top Trekking Plus trim, which starts at $29,745 and includes pretty much every option available on the 500X. Among the other changes for 2021, the 500X Pop and Trekking models receive new dashboard inserts finished in matte blue techno on the Pop and matte grey on the Trekking. Both of these trims also get new seat fabric.

The 2021 500X is now in production at Fiat's Melfi assembly plant and will hit US showrooms before the end of 2020.
