We've seen lately that Brazil is making a push onto the world stage with a widely covered election season and a proactive approach toward pressing international issues. Changes are taking place in the automobile market as well, and a significant rise in sales of passenger car-based pickup trucks is a surprise. Pickup trucks in Brazil make up some 7 percent of the total market. So, it makes sense that Fiat has revealed a more athletic version of its Strada compact pickup truck, and it's called Sporting.

The Strada Sporting is distinguished by the new aero kit. The kit includes a front spoiler, side skirts, wheel arch add-ons, and a pair of 16-inhc alloy wheels. Some other styling cues include smoked headlamps and silver trim on the mirrors, front fog lights, roof bars and rear bumper. The interior sees an upgrade with leather trimmed sports steering wheel, handbrake and gearbox lever. The Extended Cab is powered by a 1.8-liter 16v four-cylinder fuel-flex engine that produces 130-horsepower. The Strada Sporting is available only in Brazil with a starting price of about $27,400.
