Typically, when we decide to put together a dream garage using models from just one auto group, we pick a big one. In the past, we have created dream garages with VW Group, GM, and FCA cars because they all have a large number of brands to choose from. This week, our choice, BMW, only has three to work with. That is why we have divided the BMW main brand into the i Division and the M Division. We have also included BMW's other brands, Mini and Rolls Royce, to create the ultimate Bavarian dream garage.

There is no way that we could put together a BMW dream garage without including the most extreme car in the entire lineup. The new BMW M4 GTS is a track weapon with a 493 hp 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six. The GTS stands out from a normal M4 with a huge wing and aero parts, as well as a track-focused interior. It even comes with a roll cage. The M4 GTS is not cheap at $161,972, and will likely cost even more with dealer markups. Since this is our dream garage, we obviously got one at sticker price. If we ever wanted to take one of our cars to a track day or autocross, this is the one we'd choose. We could even drive it on the street if we wanted to. The M4 GTS is the coolest model that BMW currently makes.

If you don't believe us, just check out this footage of the GTS going nuts on the track. At the end of the video, the car races back home and slides into the driveway. This just proves that the M4 can be a track-monster and a usable daily driver.

BMW's lineup includes several SUVs including the X6, X5, X4, X3 and X1, but we have chosen something far less ordinary. Since this is a "dream" garage, we have decided to choose a concept vehicle from BMW's Mini division. The model that we chose is called the Mini Clubman All4 Scrambler Concept. This concept was inspired by a BMW motorcycle which was designed for off-road use. The Scrambler gets better ground clearance and chunky off-road tires to transform it into an off-road beast. Power comes from a 2.0-liter 189-hp turbocharged-four going out to all four wheels. We chose the Scrambler as the perfect car to haul stuff and enjoy some off-road adventures.

The i Division is actually a separate division within BMW, so we included it in our dream garage. As of now, the i Division only makes two cars, and we'll give you two guesses as to which one we picked. The i3 is a decent little eco-car, but the i8 is clearly the model that belongs in our dream garage. The i8 may only come with a three-cylinder engine from Mini, but it is paired with two electric motors to produce 357 horsepower. The electric motors in the front give the i8 AWD, meaning that it can hit 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. Even with such insane performance, the i8 can achieve 78 MPGe. If we ever needed to go on a road trip, we may actually take our hybrid sports car.

We want to make sure that our dream garage contains a nice balance of sporty and comfortable cars. Even though it is a dream, we still don't want to fill the garage exclusively with two-seater sports cars. That is why we chose the biggest car that the BMW group has, the Rolls Royce Phantom. We could have settled for the smaller, 7 Series-based Ghost, but this is our dream garage so we went for the top-dog. The Phantom costs a whopping $417,825. For that, you get a 6.8-liter V12 with 453 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. Yes, this is actually less than you get from the Wraith's 6.6-liter V12 but the Phantom isn't about power. The Phantom is about being the most comfortable car on the road.

Let us know which cars you would choose from the BMW group. Are their any older models that you would want? Our dream garage only included new cars, but let us know if there are any older BMW, Rolls Royce, and Mini cars that you would put in your dream garage. Let us know in the comments!
