When the 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible was officially revealed at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show it took our breath away. We already knew that the first example will be put up for auction to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of America and the Bob Woodruff Foundation but now Lexus has revealed more detailed pictures of the car along with information about other benefits that come with the auction.

The Barrett-Jackson auction will take place on January 17, 2020, in Scottsdale, Arizona and every cent raised from the sale will be split evenly between the two charities. Getting to own the first LC 500 Convertible is a privilege of its own but this car has some unique touches to make it even more special.

Lexus is calling this special edition model the LC Inspiration Series Launch Exclusive 1 of 1. There have been other Inspiration Series versions of the LC painted in bespoke colors like yellow and green but this car is the only version to be a one-of-one. It is based on the Structural Blue Inspiration Series paired with a white semi-aniline leather interior. This car also features unique 21-inch Liquid Graphite-colored forged alloy wheels with gloss black accents, blue brake calipers, and Liquid Platinum accents on the headlights, side intakes, side mirrors, and taillights.

Inside, the door sill features a carbon fiber stuff plate that reads "LC Inspiration Series Launch Exclusive 1 of 1." And if that's not enough proof that this is the first LC 500 Convertible, the last six digits of the VIN will be 100001.

Along with the car, the winning bidder will receive a few add-ons. The auction includes a framed sketch of the LC Convertible, photos from the production line, and a certificate signed by the chief engineers and the general manager of the Motomachi plant where the car is built. This LC even comes with a custom Halliburton luggage set designed to fit perfectly into the trunk.

The buyer will have plenty of opportunities to exercise the LC's 5.0-liter V8 (rated at 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque) because the auction also includes a Performance Driving Experience with brand ambassador and race car driver Scott Pruett, a three-night hotel stay for two at Pebble Beach Resort, and a round of golf for two at Pebble Beach Golf Course.
