Back in January it was announced that NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick placed the winning bid at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, to be the proud owner of the first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to roll off the production line. VIN number 0001 was just delivered to Hendrick, who also had the chance to pick out its colors: black with a red interior. And as a special surprise (probably because the dude is ridiculously rich), GM gave Hendricks a second Corvette, VIN #0002, as well.

It's red with a red interior. Basically, that $1.1 million, which is being donated to a student financial aid fund for the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, bought Hendrick the first two 2014 C7s ever. He's also a self-described Corvette gearhead, with around 150 of them in his collection. But Hendrick doesn't plan on driving either of his two new Corvettes for reasons we don't know.
