Mustang enthusiasts can finally rejoice because Ford has begun production of the Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustangs. These powerful muscle cars are being built at the same Flat Rock assembly plant in Michigan as the standard Mustang. In honor of the original 1965 Shelby GT350, only 137 of these 2015 Shelby GT350s-100 GT350s and 37 GT350Rs-will be built this year. Once all of the 137 '15 models are built, Ford will switch to 2016 models, which will be sold and built in higher numbers. Deliveries are set to commence this fall.

Both the GT350 and GT350R are powered by a 5.2-liter V8 producing 526 hp. Pricing starts at $47,795 for the GT350 and $61,295 for the GT350R (excluding destination and gas guzzler tax).
