The very first teaser image of the new 2013 SRT Viper has just been posted on the DriveSRT Facebook page, while Chrysler has also announced that their 2013 SRT Viper will debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show in April. In a press release last month, SRT Brand & Motorsports President/CEO Ralph Giles said: "The next generation Viper will make its return to the product lineup in late 2012 as a 2013 model." We also know the Dodge brand will no longer boast the Viper name, with the supercar being known simply as the SRT Viper.

Power will come from a giant 8.7-liter V10 with at least 600hp, so there'll be plenty of muscle behind the coupe's double-bubble roof design, hood scoop and what are likely to be LED-bejeweled headlights. According to the DriveSRT site that if their Facebook fan page gets 10,000 hits before February 1st, a teaser video of the car will be released. Having just 'liked' the car ourselves we can see this figure has already been passed so check back tomorrow for the video.
