AMG C63 Sedan

Spied for the first time, the all-new Mercedes C63 AMG has been caught out and about testing in Germany as AMG engineers work hard to get the new car ready for a reveal later this year. The aggressive-looking prototype sports a very mean front end, with large intakes, a new grille and hood, wider fenders housing bigger AMG-spec alloys, big brake calipers, cross-drilled rotors, new rocker panels, and a quad exhaust.

Lower and wider than its predecessor the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe will be powered by the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that motivates the C63 Sedan and Wagon. Output comes in at 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, and in C63 S trim increase to 503 horses. Connected to a seven-speed Speedshift MCT transmission, the C63 Coupe will hit 60 mph in around four seconds, with the S variant clocking it in 3.9 seconds en route to a top speed of 180 mph.
