Good news for those who have been waiting for some news regarding Saab's 9-4X. The long awaited 9-4X, which has had a rocky trip so far, has had its very first production model roll off the assembly line at General Motors' Ramos Arizmpe plant in Mexico. This great news is coming just three months after the compact crossover was unveiled to the public at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
The 9-4X is the automaker's sporty vehicle that is designed to significantly broaden the appeal of the brand and will create access to an important new segment that's still growing in the U.S. The first 9-4X Aero model that rolled out of the plant is powered by a 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine. The new vehicle is set to arrive in the U.S. in May 2011.
