First Sighting of Mercedes S65 AMG Maybach

This is going to be one luxurious beast.

We've previously spied the stretched S-Class S600 concealed in camo, but this quick video affords us a first glimpse at the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG extra-long wheelbase model, albeit in prototype form. The high-performance variant of the S-Class extra-LWB edition that is hotly tipped to receive the Maybach moniker, will be powered by the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that sits in the standard S65 AMG delivering an output of 630 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque.

The S-Class Maybach will be 200 mm longer than the S-Class LWB edition, retaining the 2+2 seating arrangement. A Pullman variant is set to follow standing at a massive six meters in length with a 2+2+2 layout. Whether AMG is tasked with upgrading that sizable lump remains to be seen.
