As deliveries for the much hyped Fisker Karma are about to begin, the automaker decided it was the perfect time to show the world their new luxury extended range EV at a major motor sport location. That place was the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix. Just before the race began last Saturday, the first European production version completed a couple of laps through the streets of Monaco. It was driven by none other than Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco.
He was accompanied by Fisker co-founder, CEO, and executive design director Henrik Fisker. In fact, this was the first public showing of the Karma in Europe. And for those who have put down an early deposit on one, Fisker claims they have a plan "to deliver vehicles to all deposit holders during the 2011 model year."
