Late last year, Fisker set its production goal for 2023 and stated that it would design an all-new website with an interactive 3D configurator. According to Fisker, the new website would only be ready in November 2023, but it seems this date has been brought forward as the configurator is now live and is one of the best we've ever experienced.

The Fisker Ocean One Launch Edition is still live on the website, even though it's sold out. The mid-spec Ultra ($49,995) and base Sport ($37,499) are also sold out. Only the Extreme ($68,999) trim is still available. An Extreme ships standard with a dual-motor setup, the Hyper Range battery, the famous SolarSky roof, and an estimated range of 350 miles.

Fisker's Ocean is not assembled in the USA, which means it doesn't qualify for the new $7,500 tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act. The Fisker Pear will be made locally, but it will only arrive in 2024.

The new 3D builder is a powerful tool and gives us a glimpse of what Fisker owners can expect. Starting with the color selection, Fisker's palette is a breath of fresh air. Only one no-cost option is available, and it's called Great White. Fisker also offers the obligatory corporate-inspired tones like its German rivals, but unlike the Europeans, you can also opt for a fun color.

Fisker's paint options are expensive, however. The cheapest alternatives to white retail for $1,500, and you can choose from Night Drive, Horizon Gray, Silver Lining, Blue Planet, Red Planet, Black Pearl, Sun Soaked, Sea Grass, and Mariana. As you can see, there are loads of nautical-themed names. If you really want the car to stand out, you'll have to hand over $4,500 for Big Sur Blue Matte, Solar Orange, Stealth Green, or Marine Layer.

A set of 20-inch AeroStealth alloys are standard, and a range of 22-inch options are available. Every wheel was designed with aerodynamics in mind, but Fisker did a grand job of balancing looks and function. The cheapest option is $2,900, while a set of 22-inch Slipstream wheels in black costs $3,800.

Three interior themes are available based on the exterior color. Black Abyss is standard, while Sea Salt adds $2,500 and MaliBlu $5,000 to the price. Extroverts will likely go the blue route, but if you have kids, stay away from the white Alcantara of Sea Salt.

The highlight of the interior is the Revolve rotating center screen, a worthwhile option. While driving, the car displays all the necessary information in portrait view. It rotates to landscape view when stationary, perfect for watching movies and videos while the car charges.

The only package available is the Fisker One Package, a complete set of over-the-air updates that will become available later. These are primarily advanced driver assistance and semi-autnomous driving features.

We played around a bit and found that you can spend up to $83,749 on an Ocean. Not bad, but quite alarming once you realize you can buy two entry-level Sport models for the same amount.
