Fisker has long been discussing their Project Nina models. The California-based company is planning on bringing out their four-door version of the Karma to the 2012 New York Auto Show and today they have released a teaser image depicting a sketch of the outline of the car. Project Nina is Fisker's family of several body-styles which use the range-extending electric philosophy already being utilized in the Karma.

The luxury sedan expected to be unveiled in New York will be produced in the U.S. and serves as the harbinger of future models. Fisker has just gone through a period of turmoil due to the Dept. of Energy blocking off their access to several federal loans, forcing the firing of over two dozen employees and shutting down production on its Delaware plant. Fisker still plans on producing Project Nina models and we can't wait to see their luxury sedan make its debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show on April 4th.
