If you've ever watched a Subaru commercial, you've probably noticed there are a lot of dog owners who like to take their pup for a ride in their car. Tesla recently released a cool new feature for dogs on its vehicles, like the Model 3, which keeps the inside temperature cool and displays a message on the screen letting people know the dog's owner is coming back soon. Fisker, makers of the upcoming electric Ocean SUV, has recently been teasing its own mode that is friendly to dogs (and people).

The automaker announced that the Ocean could add up to 200 miles of range in just 30 minutes and hinted at a new "California Mode." Owners who placed a $250 deposit on the Ocean will have access to an exclusive video showing how California Mode works but the rest of us were given a taste on the company's Facebook page.

Fisker posted a picture of the Ocean with all of its windows down along with the caption "California Mode: push of 1 button = 9 windows down. Fisker patented. Ocean breeze approved."

Basically, all of the Ocean's nine windows open at once via the press of one button. The company doesn't say if the mode can only be activated in the vehicle or using the key fob as well. Many cars have included a feature to roll down the windows using the key but the Fisker is unique because it not only features the traditional four side windows and moonroof but also two additional opening windows in front of the C-pillars and a sliding window on the tailgate (like a Toyota 4Runner).

With all of the windows down, the Fisker Ocean's cabin should feel pretty open, almost like a convertible. Fisker will offer Ocean subscriptions for $379 per month (plus a $2,999 down payment) with the range estimated to be between 250 and 300 miles. You can now place a $250 deposit to reserve one and production is set to begin near the end of 2021 with the first deliveries starting in 2022.
