Follow the 911 Through South Korea

Not that the 911 needs exotic settings to look cool, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

Those who know their Porsche 911 history will know that 2013 marks the car’s 50th anniversary, and those really up to date on the news from Stuttgart will know that Porsche has been marking the occasion with the “Follow the 911 World Tour”. The idea behind this is to have a vintage 1967 911 drive to exotic locations all over the world, followed by a group of other 911s, both new and old, as an excuse to film the cars against dramatic backdrops.

This installment comes from South Korea, and includes shots of the Alpensia Ski Resort and Doam Lake. It’s all sufficiently dramatic and does its job of making us want a 911. Also makes us want to visit South Korea.
