We've just had our first drive of the new Ford Bronco after mainstream production finally began earlier this month, and it's incredible. Its baby brother, the Bronco Sport is also pretty impressive, but like all other new cars to emerge from a manufacturer's production facility - especially SUVs - the exhaust note isn't particularly fruity. Fortunately, for vehicles with a huge following and a lot of hype aftermarket outfits waste no time developing upgrades, and MagnaFlow has just come to the party with a new exhaust system for the little Bronco Sport. Have a listen to it below.

Not bad, right? The system is part of the MagnaFlow Street Series, and as such, features CNC manufacturing and "dyno-proven performance." Strangely though, no performance gains are claimed by fitting the next exhaust system, but that's not too much of a surprise considering that this is not a full system. What you heard above is the result of an axle-back exhaust upgrade. It features 2.5-inch tubing, four-inch black chrome exhaust finishers, and a 'No Drone Technology' resonator that passively reduces unwanted noise frequencies. As the video highlights, the sound from this system is great from inside or outside the car.

The plus to this being a small upgrade rather than a full system is that it doesn't cost too much. While the MagnaFlow exhaust for the HEMI-powered Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, and Chrysler 300C has a price in the region of $2,800, the axle-back system for the Bronco Sport is considerably more affordable at $899. Not bad for a system with an attractive satin finish. Of course, we suspect that MagnaFlow has more upgrades planned for both the Bronco Sport and the regular Bronco, but if you can't wait to upgrade your new off-roader, it's great to know that you don't have to build something from scratch.
