The engine specs and curb weights are in. Now it's time for the 2015 Ford Mustang's Performance Pack to get detailed. Available on both the EcoBoost and GT models, the upgrade pack includes a retuned suspension with revised springs, bushing and rear dampers, a thicker rear sway bar, a K-brace, revised electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, electric power-assisted steering, and additional cooling capability for "track-day durability."

The Mustang GT gets additional upgrades in the form of a strut tower brace, front splitter, and wider 19-inch rims. It also gets a 3.73:1 final drive ratio, Torsen rear differential and six-piston Brembo brake calipers. The EcoBoost receives a 3.55:1 ratio, four-piston calipers and Ebony Black 19-inch alloys. The carmaker said: "The results speak for themselves – during track testing, the 2015 Mustang GT with performance package consistently beat the lap times of the 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302."
