Depending on where you live you can save thousands.
This is the time of the year when deals are to be found for some of the most popular vehicles on sale. Not only is 2019 coming to a close, but many dealerships have too much inventory and are struggling to find space for newly arriving 2020 models. Take the 2019 Ford F-150, for example. Right now, Ford is offering some very attractive discounts on remaining 2019 F-150s throughout the US. Depending on your region and city, you can save up to nearly $12,000. Ford Authority took a closer examination of these discounts in New York City, Detroit, Miami, and Los Angeles and it's in buyers' interest to act fast.
Why? Because these offers are scheduled to end this week. In NYC, Ford is offering the most attractive F-150 discount, amounting to $11,960 off for the following trims: XLTs powered by the 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost, along with the Luxury, power, and Navigation packages. Head over to the Midwest and in Detroit, you'll find a $6,250 total cash discount for the same trim.
In Miami, the 2019 F-150 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 with the same engine and package options as above has $11,500 in total cash savings. Way out west in Los Angeles, the F-150 XLT can be had with a $7,000 discount. Also depending on the city and region, there are slightly different finance offers, some of which offer 0% for up to 72 months.
So, what's the catch?
For starters, both the 2019 F-150 Raptor and 3.0-liter PowerStroke diesel variants are off-limits. More importantly, there are deadlines for these discounts you need to know about. The New York City and Detroit offers are set to expire tomorrow, November 13, but Miami and Los Angeles will continue through January 2, 2020.
At the same time, it's worth reaching out to your local Ford dealer to inquire about additional F-150 incentives, not all of which may be advertised. And, for what it's worth, incentives are already beginning for the 2020 F-150. There's a $5,000 discount in some markets but, again, you need to check with your local dealer. Happy shopping.
