There are many who still don't like the fact that the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric crossover uses the hallowed Mustang badge, but Ford isn't about to back down from this decision. The company has just revealed a new Mustang Ice White Edition Appearance Package for the entire Mustang family - including both the coupe and the Mach-E. As the name dictates, the package is offered with all-white styling features both inside and out. This makeover is essentially the opposite of the aggressive blacked-out packages that are so popular on sportier models these days. It's the first package that is shared by the Mustang coupe and the Mustang Mach-E and something tells us it won't be the last.

The appearance package will be available for the Mustang Mach-E Premium, the Mustang EcoBoost Premium, and the Mustang GT Premium. For the Mach-E, the exterior is finished in Star White Metallic Tri-Coat paint along with Star White mirror caps. The same Star White finish extends to the wheel lip moldings. The front and rear pony badges have an Oxford White finish, as do the pockets for the 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels. Inside, the Mach-E has a Light Space Gray color scheme, an Oxford White steering wheel badge, and a hex-patterned instrument panel in Bright Silver.

The Mustang Ice White Edition is a throwback to the 1993 Triple White Fox body feature Mustang, of which just 1,500 convertible models were made. This new Mustang is finished in Oxford White and has iced-out taillamps, Oxford White pony badges, and 19x9-inch wheels in the same color. The black and white cabin boasts leather seat inserts in Oxford White, an aluminum applique on the dashboard, and plenty of white accent stitching. Ford says that orders for the Mustang Mach-E Ice White Edition will open this fall and that customers can expect it to hit showrooms early in 2022. As for the iced-out Mustang, it will also arrive at dealers at the same time.
