Still one of the most classic race cars of all time.
Many of the most iconic cars for both the street and the race track date from the Sixties. It was the last era when sports cars were built only to go fast and look good while doing it, and absolutely nothing else mattered. But even among all of these greats of the day, the Ford GT40 still managed to stand out. This was the car that made Ford, and America, a presence at Le Mans; not to mention the David that toppled the Goliath that was Ferrari at Le Sarthe in those days.
To celebrate the history of this amazing car, a GT40 parade was put together at the Goodwood Revival earlier this summer, and we have a video of just how magnificent a sight it was.
