Ford Lets its Fiesta ST Loose in Detroit

Video

To help Detroit with its bid to host the 2014 Summer X Games, Ford puts the new Fiesta ST to work.

We’re already huge fans of the Ford Fiesta ST and the little pocket rocket is arriving in US showrooms as we speak. Ford is also using the car as a way to convince ESPN that Detroit should serve as host for the 2014 Summer X Games. To gather some attention, Ford has just released this really cool video showcasing a rallycross-spec Fiesta ST tearing up the streets of the Motor City and even the roof of Cobo Hall. Of course the roads were closed and pro driver Andreas Eriksson was at the wheel.

It's great to see someone, anyone in fact, trying to promote Detroit in a good way. The city has so much potential and an event like the Summer X Games being hosted there would be a wonderful thing.
