Save up to $5,000 on the popular pony car.
The Ford Mustang has been going from strength to strength. The popular pony car continues to outsell its muscle car rivals, the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger, and Ford recently launched the new Mustang Mach 1 that replaces the Shelby GT350 and Mustang Bullitt. Ford has even applied the Mustang moniker to its first electric SUV, the Mustang Mach-E, which is already proving to be a strong seller. If you would rather buy a traditional combustion-powered Mustang, Ford has slashed the price of its best-selling muscle car this month.
Throughout June, you can save up to $4,000 off the Ford Mustang's MSRP. College students can also take advantage of an extra $1,000 discount, bringing the total savings to $5,000.
Part- and full-time students and graduates who completed their degrees within the last two years are eligible for the extra discount. In New York, Los Angles, and Miami, Ford dealers are offering a $4,000 cash discount plus an extra $1,000 discount for college students. If you prefer to finance, these regions are offering a 2.9 percent APR for 60 months.
Dealers in Miami are also offering a $3,750 cash discount. There are a few caveats, however. These discounts only apply to the 2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium with the 200A and 201A equipment packages installed. The 200A package already comes as standard, but the 201A package will cost you an extra $2,200.
This package adds a 12-inch LCD digital instrument cluster, a premier trim with color accent group, a heated steering wheel, and a voice-activated touchscreen navigation system.
If you would rather buy a new 2021 Ford Mustang, Ford is offering a $1,000 cash rebate nationwide, which can be combined with the college student discount. Ford recently admitted that Mustang buyers are getting older, so the Blue Oval is trying to entice younger buyers.
These discounts are available for the 2020 and 2021 Mustang until July 6, so take advantage while you can.
