The Ford Mustang Mach-E is one of the Blue Oval's most exciting new models in recent times. It's got people talking as much as the Shelby GT500 and the Bronco, and one of the best ways to capitalize on huge public interest is by offering a special First Edition. As you may have seen, these first editions sold out very quickly, but now Ford is offering more of them due to the fact that customers were reportedly disappointed at how quickly the first batch disappeared.

How customers who have already secured a Mach-E First Edition will feel about more models becoming available is unlikely to be positive, but Ford is clearly looking to maximize turnover here, and more "special" editions are an easy way to do that. However, unlike with the original batch that could be ordered on Ford's website, the automaker is also using this as an opportunity to experiment with a new way of selling cars.

The new batch of First Edition models will be exclusively available through social platforms like Uncrate, with all of those hosted here being painted in Carbonized Gray. However, another hint that Ford is looking to make as much as possible out of the new release is that the company has not disclosed how many more of these models will be available.

Uncrate won't be the only platform offering the First Edition, with reports coming from Ford that it is partnering with Spotify and other platforms too. Again, there's no word on how long First Edition models will be available but it's great news for those who really want red brake calipers, red contrast stitching, and unique scuff plates and pedals. We're excited to see how well this new method of offering a car for sale will play out, regardless of Ford's apparent interest in its customers and their requests. Maybe the future will see us ordering a new car by sending a direct message to an Instagram account.
