After its impressive live debut at the LA Auto Show, there's been plenty of talk about the Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang and its 5.2-liter flat-plane crankshaft V8 delivering around 500 hp. Normally we wouldn't get a whiff about its price for a few weeks, if not months, but according to Horsepower Kings, an unnamed Ford source has revealed the car will be priced from $52,995. If you want the "tech" package, then an extra $2,995 will be needed, while a "track" pack will be another option to consider.

As we reported earlier, a GT350 R will arrive as a more track-focused range-topper, with beefier brakes, stickier tires and some aerodynamic enhancements. The same rumor source suggests that will take a bow at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January.
