The US market is quite spoiled with choices when it comes to cars. However, countries like Pakistan don't share the same luck and have a limited selection of cars, which usually come from Asian brands. So what does a Pakistani American muscle fan do? Well, turn a Kia Spectra - a compact sedan from the early 2000s - into a Ford Mustang.

We're no strangers to weird conversions like this. In 2020, we saw someone turn a Hyundai into a Lamborghini Countach, or at least tried. But while that one saw extensive mechanical changes, this Spectra-to-Mustang conversion only had its exterior changed.

Kamran Rasheed from SBC Modifier is the one responsible for the build. As seen from the front, the car is a dead-ringer for the famous pony car. It has the same design beats as the sixth-generation Mustang - a long hood, a mean frowny grille, and sharp LED headlamps. From the side though, the Kia sedan bleeds through the disguise.

There's also the fact that Rasheed gave the car scissor doors in the same vein as the Lamborghini Aventador. The height of the side sills off the ground is also a dead giveaway as it doesn't really line up with the front of the car.

Beyond the oddity, we commend the hours put into work here. Plus, the front-end portion is a great copy of the real deal.

And besides, Rasheed might have built something that looks better than the strange and downright ugly Mercedes G-Wagen that was built by an actual coachbuilder. Plus, it looks like the Stang conversion was made in the spirit of fun, and that's all that matters in the grand scheme of things.

If you like these kinds of strange but enthralling builds, Rasheed has tons more to show via his SBC Modified YouTube channel. Apparently, the builder also makes converted Toyota Land Cruisers, which somehow look better than some strange SUVs from actual car companies.
