You can get up to $7,250 off.
There's still lots of hype for Ford's Bronco, Mustang Mach 1, and Raptor, but it seems that Ford is looking to get rid of some excess stock of the Edge SUV. In May, Ford was offering discounts on it already but then we reported that the Blue Oval may cancel its plans for the next generation of the vehicle, suggesting that one of two things is happening: either the Edge is getting remodeled for 2021, which seems unlikely, or Ford is trying to push more new-car buyers into the Bronco Sport. The latter seems to be the pervading theory, but for anyone who doesn't care and is simply looking to save some cash now, there are discounts seemingly everywhere.
However, if you're keen on saving some cash on a new Edge, you'd best make your way to a dealer fast as the specials are only confirmed for October and the beginning of November. It's also worth remembering that part of the discount is a Trade Assist offer. There's a two-tier incentive plan in place, with Titanium and ST models receiving a higher discount of up to $7,250 while lesser models get a smaller but still substantial discount of as much as $4,500. There's also the offer of zero percent interest for 60 months plus a cashback offer of $5,250 for new Titanium and ST models in certain markets.
In New York City, the upper two trims get a cash discount of $6,000 while lesser SE, SEL, and ST-Line models get a discount of $3,500. The Titanium and ST models are also eligible for a $6,000 discount but lesser models only qualify for $1,250 off. In Los Angeles, the same applies to the top two trims but the lesser trims get $4,500 off. Miami sees the highest discount for the top trims with $7,250 off while other models get a $4,000 discount.
In order to take advantage of these offers, delivery must be taken by November 3 and the offer is not available with special finance, lease, and some other offers. Chat to your local dealer for confirmation on what kind of discount buyers in your area can expect.
