The FPV GT Concept, based on the Ford Falcon GT sedan, just debuted at the Australian Motor Show. As the first concept car in the history of the Ford Performance Vehicles division, it certainly does not disappoint. The FPV GT has a sporty and aggressive look, with its 19-inch light forged alloy rims wrapped in Dunlop SP Sportmaxx GT tires. The car is so completely blacked-out it would make the late Johnny Cash blush.

Six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers adorn the wheels, and are also totally blacked out in FPV's Silhouette black. "Taking our iconic FPV GT, we have put together a package of performance and design enhancements to demonstrate what could be done by FPV in the future," Ford Performance Vehicles General Manager Rod Barrett said. "The black-on-black treatment looks spectacular and it really changes the look of the car, so I'll be very interested to hear what FPV enthusiasts think." The Australian-built FPV GT carries a supercharged Boss 5.0-liter V8 engine that puts out 449hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.

Inside, the all-black theme continues with black leather trim throughout and an all-black dash treatment. No pricing or availability details have been released.
