The Ford F-150 is the best-selling truck in America, but when the likes of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra are being offered with big discounts, Ford needs to do the same, especially since the automaker has a surplus of the trucks. While it is not uncommon for big brands to offer discounts as a year model reaches the end of its tenure on the market, Ford's price slashing for the F-150 is particularly attractive to buyers, with some markets getting over $13,000 off. The cities of New York, Detroit, Miami, and Los Angeles are, as usual, those that qualify for the various discounts.

First up is NYC. Here, you can get the full $13,200 discount if you opt for a 302A SuperCrew 4x4 model with Power, Nav & Chrome/Sport packages. Finance deals see you get $2,500 off and 1.9 percent APR over 60 months. This includes $1,000 trade assist too. Detroit gets the same finance deal, but only $5,750 cash discount on XLT models. Miami gets an impressive $11,000 off on cash deals, but only for a 2.7-liter EcoBoost 4x3 SuperCrew model with the same packages required in New York. Finance deals mirror those offered in the Big Apple. Finally, LA gets either a $5,750 discount on XLT models or a $2,000 trade assist and zero percent APR over 60 months. No deals for the Raptor have been offered.

Not only is the Raptor being shunned from the discount program, but models equipped with the 3.0-liter PowerStroke diesel engine also don't qualify for any new incentives. Still, if you're looking to buy a 2020 F-150, the offers are very attractive. In addition to the specific offers detailed above, Ford is also offering a nationwide $500 rebate on 2021 versions of the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum models. Limited models get $600 cash back, while Miami residents can also take advantage of a $2,000 incentive for 2021 XLT F-150s. To check if you qualify, visit your nearest Ford dealer, but make haste - delivery must be taken by January 4, 2021.
