Ford has just announced it's begun taking orders for the all-new 2015 Mustang. For the time being, however, only the fastback model can be ordered. If you want a convertible you'll have to wait a little while longer. Ford has also released the base price for the new Mustang 3.7-liter V6: $24,425, including destination and delivery. Do the math and you'll notice that this is just $1,090 more than the outgoing Mustang V6.

Standard features on the Mustang include eight airbags, rear view camera system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button start, and a tire pressure monitoring system. We don't know just yet how much the new Mustang GT and Mustang EcoBoost will run for, but both will certainly cost more than the V6. As a quick recap, both the V6 and V8 are carry-overs from the current Mustang, producing more than 300 and 420 horsepower, respectively. The 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo four will churn out more than 305 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. For direct comparison, the V6 produces 270 lb-ft. The 2015 Mustang will arrive in dealerships in North America this fall.
