It's been with us since Roman times, chefs have turned it into ice cream, and 43% of men are said to prefer it to sex. So revered is the culinary delight there's even an official day to celebrate it. And with International Bacon Day coming up at the end of the month, Ford is honoring the processed pig treat by introducing a bacon-wrapped 2014 Ford Fiesta. As the popular hatch starts to hit dealerships across the US, customers will have the chance to add custom bacon graphics to their brand-new small car.

They can opt for a "Side of Bacon" where two bacon strips wrap over the rear wheel, "Bacon Racing Strips," consisting of two racing car-inspired strips on the hood, and for the pork purists, the full "Bacon Wrap," 10 massive strips of luscious bacon covering the entire car. Liz Elser, Ford Fiesta marketing manager, said "It's just awesome to drive down the road in a piece of bacon." While Allan Benton, CEO of Benton's Country Hams, says "This car just makes so much sense." We couldn't agree more.
