That is if you even wanted it in the first place.
Ford, like all automakers, has designs on the massive Chinese market. To that end it unveiled an all-new Taurus strictly for China. As you'd expect, the almost-luxury sedan is all about rear legroom and comfort. The Taurus has reclining rear seats with a built-in massage function. The console in the center armrest controls the media, air conditioning and seats. There are 25 storage spaces and cup holders were designed to hold tea bottles of varying sizes.
Under the hood the Taurus will be packing a twin-turbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, with no other engine options announced as of yet. Since fewer and fewer people in the US are buying large sedans these days, it's a toss-up as to whether or not there will be a new Taurus stateside in the next couple of years. If it does hit the US market you can be damn sure that rear legroom space will shrink considerably.
