Ford Teams Up With Dallas Cowboys To Create Limited Edition F-150

Pickup trucks and football seem perfect for Texas.

If you live in Texas, you can now buy a limited edition version of the Ford F-150 called the Dallas Cowboys Edition. Only 400 examples will be built exclusively for Texas Ford dealerships. The Cowboys edition is based on the F-150 XLT with the Chrome Package, which Ford says is the top selling model in Texas. In addition to standard F-150 features, the Cowboys edition comes with 20-inch chrome wheels with Cowboys logo center caps, branded floor mats, and a special badge signed by team owner Jerry Jones.

The Cowboys edition F-150 comes right when the football season is ready to start, which should help it sell out quickly. Texas is the biggest market for pickup trucks, and unsurprisingly, this is not the first time that Ford has offered a Dallas Cowboys themed F-150. Back in 1994, Ford released the Cowboys edition F-150, and the team had 12 wins that season. We aren't saying that the two are connected, but perhaps the Cowboys could surprise people this season. Whether or not the team does well, if you want this special edition F-150, it will cost $41,925, which is $1,495 more than the standard Chrome Edition. Not an outrageous premium for such a limited edition model.
