After announcing it will build 1,964 copies of its 2015 Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition coupe, Ford has declared it will also build just one solitary convertible variant. Unfortunately, you can't buy it. But you have just as much chance as anyone else of winning it. The one-off droptop Stang will be raffled off on August 16 at the Woodward Dream Cruise with proceeds going to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, from where – along with Ford Motor Company – you can purchase the $20 raffle ticket while supplies last.

As well as supporting a worthy cause, you may just end up with a seriously cool one-of-a-kind Mustang. Ford says it will be the only 2015 Mustang Convertible fitted with a performance pack that adds Pirelli P Zero summer tires, Brembo brake calipers and limited-slip diff. It will also boast a badge on the instrument panel engraved with "0001 of 0001" serial number and Ford chairman Bill Ford's signature. As with the 50th Anniversary coupes, the convertible comes in Wimbledon White and features a chrome-accented grille, two-tone beige and black leather seats and 19-inch Y-spoke alloys.
