The hugely popular Expedition has a new offer.
Ever since the fourth-generation Ford Expedition arrived for 2017 it's been a huge success. If you recall, there was a time when Ford couldn't build them fast enough to satisfy demand, alongside the also-new Lincoln Navigator. This full-size, body-on-frame SUV is the real deal, capable of handling just about any tough condition tossed in its way and, at the same, providing occupants with comfort and luxury features. It's no wonder Ford sold over 65,500 examples last year alone. All the more impressive is the fact the latest Expedition does not come cheap.
The outgoing 2019 Expedition has an MSRP of $52,130 (the 2020 model is slightly more). That's for just the base XLT model while a top-of-the-line Platinum will set you back by at least $73,365. Want to spend even more? Opt for the Lincoln Navigator. But what about those who merely seek a new Expedition XLT for a better price? Your wish has been granted.
Ford has just announced a new offer for the 2019 Expedition XLT 4x4 powered by the only engine available, the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with a total of 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque and paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2019 Ford Expedition XLT currently being advertised originally had an MSRP of $62,140 but thanks to $9,780 cash back and a $2,839 national average dealership discount, you're looking at a total of $12,619 in savings. That's an estimated savings of 20 percent.
There does not appear to be many restrictions aside from the vehicle must have arrived at a dealer in the last 61 days and delivery must take place by January 2, 2020.
We should also note this particular Expedition XLT is the 4x4 version with the 202A equipment package, consisting of heated and ventilated first-row seats, heated steering wheel, hands-free, foot-activated liftgate, 4G LT Wi-Fi, and a blind spot monitoring system. All told, this offer slashes the SUV's price down to $49,521, without question one of the best Expedition offers from the past year.
