With the retirement of the (very) old Crown Victoria, Ford is now building their Police Interceptors out of the Taurus, and there will be a special edition concept at SEMA. The special edition will be the Stealth, which Ford tells us takes its inspiration from the SR-71. While giving the Stealth the SR-71's ability to travel at Mach 3 would have been cooler, this is still a bad-ass looking car.

Of course, if your goal is to remain undetected, then looking really cool probably isn't the way to go. Then again, tinted windows and black 22-inch rims don't exactly say "cop car" to us... Either way, impracticality has never been an obstacle for SEMA cars, and just because this one is unlikely to ever see any actual police service doesn't mean we aren't looking forward to seeing it. So long as it's not in the rear-view mirror.
