Former Los Angeles Laker Launches On-Demand Detailing App

Supercar

But will your car be as clean as Kobe's?

Wype is a startup co-founded by former Los Angeles Laker Jordan Farmar that offers on-demand detailing that you order, schedule and pay for via an iPhone app. There are three levels of service: Quickie ($22), Standard ($29) and Swanky ($65). Quickie gets you an exterior wash and wheel/tire cleaning, while Standard adds the interior and Swanky features waxing. All washes are waterless, with Wype saying they work for 95% of dirty cars. The Ferrari 458 Italia pictured here was give a Standard cleaning by Wype.

Additionally $1 from each Wype goes to Charity: Water, a nonprofit that brings clean drinking water to people around the globe. Unfortunately the service is only available in three Southern California markets but there are plans to expand.
