What does it feel like to drive a racing car on the road? Not many people have had the chance to find out. Even those with so-called "race cars for the road" – as cars with racing features but are not really racing cars, the Formula Ford EcoBoost is. It's a genuine Formula Ford racer fitted with Ford's turbocharged 1-liter 3-cylinder motor, tuned to 202 hp. And by fitting indicators, fog lights and turning down output to around 170 hp this thing is road legal. At 75 mph it delivers 57 mpg, it can hit a 158 mph top speed and can sprint from 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds.

Oh, and it also managed to lap the Nurburgring in 7 min 22 sec. The big question is: will Ford build any? Probably not, so check out Harris behind the wheel and try to imagine what it would be like driving an actual race car to work.
